I love this photo because I feel it sums me up pretty well!
I'm a Chicana in my twenties living in Southern California.
I recently graduated with my Masters degree (M.Ed.) in student affairs- #SApro on the job market.
I am a big supporter and advocate of higher education, and work to keep current with social justice issues.
I also got married(!) very recently, and while we have been together for a while, we are still enjoying being newlyweds.

I love to craft, and dabble in all sorts of different crafty/handmade things.
Crocheting, home decor, scrapbooking, Project Life, other paper crafts- I like to try it all.

I also love me some sugar skulls, hence my blog title. My kitchen (and let's be real, most nooks and crannies of my home) is decorated in a sugar skull theme. Basically all kinds of Mexican/Chican@ inspired aesthetically-pleasing sorts of things.
I love to travel and attend events and experiences both local and far. Thankfully my partner and many of my friends are usually up for adventures. Currently musical festivals like Coachella and Outside Lands, Disneyland, craft fairs, and sporting events are some of my favorite experiences.

I made dat. |
I hope you enjoy keeping up with me and my blog as I craft, eat, decorate, attempt to stay organized, and discuss and promote equity and social justice in my day-to-day life.
