Why hello there, San Francisco. I love you rain and all.

Mkay. It has been far too long since I have blogged absolutely anything.
So I have some catching up to do with life as of lately.
Because I know all of the readers out there are supah interested!!
(wink wink. tongue in cheek. because there are no readers yet! lol)

SO! First ridiculously fun thing I did recently was actually a trip for work. Imagine that- a work event was fun!

We took our students to San Francisco for spring break!

We stayed at a great hostel right by Fisherman's Wharf. This was actually the 3rd time I stayed at a Hostelling International location- twice in San Francisco, and once in San Diego. These hostels are really wonderful. If your are looking for luxury, you are better off with a five star hotel somewhere. But if you're looking for affordability and convenience while you explore a new city, I would definitely recommend these hostels. They even have private rooms if you are going with a significant other.

This hostel was the Fisherman's Wharf location, at Fort Mason, an old military base.
And this was the view from the "backyard" of the hostel!
Yup! That's Alcatraz Island!
( And my orange raincoat ;-D )

Eddie acting like the goof he is!

Yup, that is sourdough bread shaped like
a crab. Epic bread skills.

It was such a bee-yoo-tiful day on the bridge!
I've been to SF like 4 times in my life, and this was the clearest I have ever seen the bridge.
No fog in sight!

Awww Yeeeaaahhhh! I love me                                                          Left my heart in SF! lol! ;-)
             some Paul Frank!
I thought this building was FABULOUS!
I LOVE this shade of blue, and I just thought the flowers in the windows were the best!
Inspiration for home decor? I think yes!

And the last SF pic to round out this post.
LIke I said earlier, the hostel was on Fort Mason, an old military base.
This military base included a hospital- creepy! Supposedly they have ghosts.
Thankfully we did not see any!
This was a cool/creepy mural above the main entrance of the hostel, leftover from the days of the military.

All in all our SF trip was great! All of our students seemed to have a really good time too. :-)

So until my next post, which is hopefully tomorrow, I will leave you, my nonexistent readers, with my weekend plans...

AWWWW YEEAAHHHH!!!
And it's walking distance from our apartment! Woot woot!
:-)
